Robert Masango

Full Stack C# Developer

He has a BCom in Information Systems and Business Management degree, as well a BCom Honours in Information Systems and Business Management degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree of Commerce in Computer Science. Robert is the web and mobile applications developer and Business intelligence Specialist at BrilloSys. His area of interest and expertise lies in Business Intelligence and the web and mobile application development in which he works with the transformation of data into usable and appropriately visualized information using Microsoft BI tools and other third party tools. Robert has experience in SQL database development and business intelligence, he has developed, deployed and supported the Standard Bank and Mercedes Benz Customer Satisfaction (CSI) in which he supported and consulted on: The Extraction Transaction and Loading (ETL) of data from excel to database using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Writing and maintenance of SQL stored procedures and database maintenance using SQL Server; and Data mining and Reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

He has a BSc Computer Science degree, as well as a BSc Honours in Applied Mathematics degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He also has several technical certifications which include: MCP, MCAD, MCSA, MCSD, MCDBA and SAP Certified Application Associate – Business Intelligence with SAP BW 7.3 and SAP BI 4.0. He started his career as a software developer, developing products using technologies like Dexterity (MS Great Plains programming language), and C# on a .NET platform. He later moved to Business Intelligence and Analytics, using a wide range of technologies such as: Microsoft – SQL Server 2005/2008, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS; Oracle – PL/SQL; SAP – BW and BOBJ. He has worked on a number of projects over the years, spanning across the different sectors, with the main ones being: Retail, Healthcare and Manufacturing.
